With the original front facade still bearing the slight remnants of severe flooding to the Inveresk area in 1929 which saw the little cottage all but underwater - it was a labour of love to complete this transformation. And now, it stands to tell the tale alongside neighbouring heritage cottages of the same era, in a quaint and quiet street with a stunning new look thanks to the fabulous interior design skills of owner Lydia and husband Shane’s to-the-millimetre building flair.

The Good Soul Cottage is a beautifully restored, heritage-listed 2 bedroom cottage (circa 1890) tucked away in the heart of Launceston. With 2 cosy bedrooms at the front of the cottage, a short hallway leads you through to the open plan kitchen, living and dining with a generous outdoor entertaining area accessible via double french doors. Arched windows on either side of the room create a light-filled space that is as quaint and cosy as it is beautifully styled with modern appointments. The cottage is situated off a quiet street with ample off-street parking and a secure backyard. This beautiful cottage is all yours to call home for the duration of your stay.
